Dear Friends and Colleagues, 2008 is already showing signs of being an impetuous year with events that can surprise even the unflappable. Whether we chat about the state of the economy in various countries, the audacity of politicians here, there and everywhere, strikes in professions least imagined, as well as pilots landing aircraft against the odds, there is plenty to fill the newspapers, blogs and television programmes to take our mind off the weather! For many of us, this time of year is our somewhat stress-free time. The main season still feels like a distant consideration. And with this bulletin, we hope to subtly ease you into some preparation for the forthcoming season. The following pages include the matter of reapplying for the Certificate of Experience, if this applies to you, and about attendances at a London jolly/activity, the Lecture and AGM on the 27th March and invitation later to the Hard Rock Café. In response to many requests last year for the opportunity to sit for the CTM qualification, depending on the number of applicants, we are hoping to offer this around the time of our meeting in London. Predictably, the date is always an occupational hazard, so let Central Office know your intentions for this session. It may not always be as fascinating as U-Tube or My Face but adding www.iatm.co.uk to your Favourites on your electronic server, allows for the latest news to be available in between issues of IATM News and our regional bulletin. We have plans to expand this so that spontaneity can become an incentive to log-on! This bulletin also coincides with the latest issue of the IATM News, a round-up of news across the spectre of the Association that will also be subtle preparation........ On that note, hmm, never too late to once again wish you all a Happy, Safe, Healthy and Prosperous 2008. Mimi and the Committee. IATM British Region Committee:
