The following questions are answered below:

2. I have tried to register but I get an error message. What should I do?
3. I have tried all that but still cannot register. What do I do now?
4. I have forgotten my password. How can I get a new one?
5. How do I change my password?
6. I have forgotten my username. How can I retrieve it?
7. I am still waiting for confirmation of registration after several hours. Why the delay?
8. Does registration mean that I will be publicly advertised on the IATM website?
9. Do you share my personal details or e-mail address with outside companies?

1. I am not a member. Can I register?
While we welcome you to browse the public parts of the IATM website, registration gives access to pages that are restricted to our paid members. If you are a Tour Manager but are not yet a member we would give you every encouragement to join. You will find further details and links to online application forms here.

2. I have tried to register but I get an error message. What should I do?
Simply trying a second time has worked for some members.
Ensure that you have cookies enabled in your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc).
For
Internet Explorer go to Tools>Internet Options>Privacy and check your security settings. You may need to lower the setting in order to register.
For
Firefox go to Tools>Options>Privacy and ensure that "Accept cookies from sites" is ticked (you may choose further cookie options once the box has been ticked).
For Google Chrome go to the spanner icon in the top right hand corner, choose options>Under the hood> and scroll down to Cookie settings and select "Allow all cookies" from the drop-down box.

Remember to re-set your security settings once registration is complete.

3. I have tried all that but still cannot register. What do I do now?
If all else fails, send an e-mail to iatm@iatm.co.uk with your username and the e-mail address you wish to use. We will register you directly on the website and provide you with a temporary password which you can then change to one of your own choice (see How do I change my password? below).

4. I have forgotten my password. How can I get a new one?
Go to
"Lost Password?" on the left of this page, type in your username and e-mail address and then press "Send password". You will be sent an e-mail with a new password.

5. How do I change my password?
If you wish to change your password, or any other registration details, go to your profile page (you will need to log-in using your current password), click on the grey box marked Edit and select Update Your Profile. Make whatever changes are required (remembering to re-confirm your choice of  password) and then press Update.

6. I have forgotten my username. How can I retrieve it?
Send an e-mail to iatm@iatm.co.uk and we will send you your username. However we can only do this during office working hours. To make life simpler, why not save your IATM username and password on your web browser (not recommended if you are using a shared or public computer).

7. I am still waiting for confirmation of registration after several hours. Why the delay?

Each registration has to be individually checked and approved by a real human being. This way we ensure that only legitimate members have access to the restricted pages of the website. We apologise for any delay or inconvenience this may cause and assure you that we will always do our very best to keep any wait to a minimum. During our office hours confirmations are usually issued within minutes of receipt.

8. Does registration mean that I will be publicly advertised on the IATM website?

No, registration is simply the means by which IATM can give you access to the restricted Members area of the website and allows us to send you Newsletters, Bulletins, updates, etc. However, details that you have provided for the IATM Membership Handbook are also available to other members on the restricted area of this website (see the next question).

9. Do you share my personal details or e-mail address with outside companies?
No. All information you provide is used only within IATM and would never be shared with any other person or organization outside the Association without your express permission. Information that you have provided for the IATM Membership Handbook is available to other members on the Handbook page.
